HOW DO I BUY THE ELEGANTE PRODUCTS?

Our products are sold through a variety of sales channels.  If you are a UBT member then there is a core range of Elegante products available to purchase alongside other UBT products.  You can also purchase the full range off this website where the stock comes from our own distribution centre and sent direct to your address.  You can view the full range here: All Elegante Products

SOMETIMES THE SIZE OR COLOUR OF ONE OF THE PRODUCTS ISN'T AVAILABLE TO ADD TO MY BASKET?

Our website is directly connected to our distribution centre, so the stock levels you see are live and up to date. We receive regular replenishment deliveries, but occasionally certain sizes or colours may sell out quickly due to high demand. If you’d like to know when a specific product will be back in stock, please email us at orders@elegante-uk.com and we’ll be happy to let you know.

• Essential – A more affordable option, perfect for everyday wear.
• Classic Shine – Made with stronger yarn than the Essential, giving them a slightly firmer feel with a beautiful finish.
• 30d Semi Opaque – A lighter option, ideal for autumn/winter days and a smarter look with shoes.
• 50d Opaque – Warm and cosy, perfect for colder winter months.
• Bodyshapers – A comfortable, slimming panty that provides support.

HOW SHOULD I WASH THE TIGHTS?

We recommend always handwashing our tights in cool water using a non-biological washing powder or a delicate handwash liquid suitable for silks.

WHY DOES THE RELAXED MEASUREMENT OF TIGHTS CHANGE?

The relaxed length can vary depending on how the tights are boarded (the heat-setting and shaping process where tights are placed on a mold, called a board). Some workers may stretch them more than others, which can create a difference of up to 5 cm in the relaxed measurement—though the fit remains exactly the same. Temperature, humidity, and even the age of the tights can also affect the relaxed length.

HOW IS THE TIGHTS LEG LENGTH MEASURED?

Leg length is measured in extension using the CETME tool. Alternatively, an artisanal method is to have one person hold the waistband while another gently pulls the toe area to measure the full length.

HOW DOES THE COMPOSITION OF THE TIGHTS AFFECT THE FIT?

A higher percentage of elastane (Lycra) in the yarn creates a stronger, snugger fit. While the stretched size remains consistent, the relaxed length will appear shorter because of the greater elasticity. This can make tights feel tighter or slightly shorter when worn, even though the sizing is the same.
